You didn't buy those from Steam. The keys could have been gifted to you for all Steam knows. They need to see an actual transaction going through them.
*EDIT*
I can go into my inventory and sell my cards, but I can't sell any game items (TF2, Spiral Knights, etc.)
Actual games can't be sold at all on steam market. Also some items such as TF2 hats, Spiral Knight's weapons etc can't be sold either whilst some items can. For example I have Ellis' (l4d2 character) hat for TF2 but it can't be sold or traded so I'm stuck with something I will never use.
I personally think that all things should be saleable or tradeable with the exception of games on steam market place.
Yeh, I agree with your last statement, and you should be able to delete items (tradable or non-tradable) if you don't want the item anymore.
Cause I am 11 and my parents don't trust giving their credit card details.
1 they might give it away or use it to get money off it.Or even do some kind of monthly payment like xbox live gold.
2 The purchase might fail and they'll loose money!
What?
If the puchase fails they will not lose money that is not how credit cards work.
