Is there a way to find my Soundtracks?
I've recently decided to start cataloguing the soundtracks I've purchased for various games; I know I own several but I can't remember exactly what I've purchased or what games come with soundtracks.

Does anyone know of a way I can find and/or download all of the soundtracks I own from various games? I currently own over 200 games and I'm hoping it will be as easy as it is to grab them all off of GOG.com or from the Humble Bundle website.

Soundtracks for Steam games are avaiable on the game folder.
For Humble Bundles soundtracks, refer to the download link on your purchase email (or your humble account)

Ugh, so I'd have to know exactly which soundtracks I own before I start looking? That kinda blows.

The Humble Bundle soundtracks are cake to download as there is a tab specifically for the music I own in my Humble Account; I was hoping for the same (or something similar) from Steam. Perhapps in the future I suppose.

Thanks

The "bonus material" in general isn't handled very well on Steam. Or rather, it's not handled at all. It's just dumped in your game directory, usually (I actually have one game, Serious Sam 3, where the soundtrack is hidden away in the Library/Tools section and has to be downloaded first), with no further notice or selection menu.

Perhaps viewing your purchase history may help. I just bought several games through the Steam winter sale and I do not recall which games I bought soundtracks with...

I know my copy of the ARES soundtrack was just dumped in my game files folder inside steamapps/ . Same thing with another soundtrack too.

I also want to second the idea of tracking one's purchase history. With the many different places to buy games and soundtracks and stuff like that, digitally, it can get pretty confusing quickly. Keep a spreadsheet saying what you bought, when, in what bundle (if applicable), and for how much. I find it very useful.

I'd like to know how to download the soundtracks on a Mac for the Windows games I've purchased. I cannot install the game, because it's for a different OS.

Preemptively, any to comment that the solution is installing Windows is not a solution I'm looking for. I'm looking to listen to the music, not play the game. And yes I purchased some Windows games with soundtracks with the intent to play them later--especially since they were huge winter deals at 66% price cut.

If you buy a soundtrack separately, can you just download it? It would be nice if the bundles worked this way, and I'm surprised I cannot find a solution.

Steam really ought to change soundtrack downloads into just a simple download link, rather than treating them as DLC and dumping them into the game data folder. How about making a separate "soundtrack" product category that behaves differently from a DLC item?

@Wakisashi: This ain't the first time this has happened: http://steamcommunity.com/app/263400/discussions/0/630802344667644924/

Does anyone know if one can get Steam's attention through discussions or must one open a support ticket--and had this already been done? (i.e. Steam already is aware and has a policy on this issue.)
