How does it work? Elder Scrolls Online
I have so many things to ask about Elder Scrolls Online that I simply do not have the space here for it, but I'll try anyways.

1. Is it going to be on Steam? (skyrim wouldn't run on my pc without it)
2. How are they going to place everyone on one server like they plan? Wouldn't it always be down for maintenance?
3. If I start the game as an Argonian (Of Course) do I start in Black Marsh?
4. If my Sneak and Pickpocket skills are high enough, can I steal from players?
5. How is the game going to retain its lore-friendly feel with idiots running around naked, named FatD!ckBag, like in every other Online Game?
6. Can me and my friends post up on the roads and rob people of their goods? Or is there now no point to the thief based character?
7. What anti-hack program is it going to operate with? Because I don't want to lose my things to some kid with a download.
8. Death. How's that gonna work? Can't just reload my game right?
9. Economic structure. I always ruin the economy in any Elder Scrolls game by becoming too rich. How do we stop this without penalizing the rich or the poor?
10. Is there going to be a real-money market? I really, really hope not.
11. Can I find people already looting a cave when I get there? Or will I be entering some alternate universe of the same cave?
12. Is there going to be lines at the crafting spots? Because I've got sh*t to do.
13. Is a mage class still gonna kill in one hit but also still die in one hit at it's highest level, versus a fighter class at highest level?
14. Can I take a transport to anywhere in the game as lvl 1? Or are places going to be off-limits according to lvl brackets?
15. Do we still get followers to carry stuff for us, or is that now my low-leveled friend's job?
16. Is it even going to come out on time?

1. it will require its own log-in. It may be available for sale on steam but it won require ste to run like most mmos.
2.the same way every MMO does.
3. No idea about the starting zones.
4.doubt it.
5. It won't naming wise, it's an mmo, there will always be people with stupid names.
6. No idea.
7. It's an mmo, they will simple ban you if yur suspected of cheating. Plus it has a monthly subscription so if you cheat your wastin your own money.
8. Your thinking of it as an elders scrolls game and not an mmo.
9. As above.
10. No idea as of yet. Probably not since it has a subscription to play.
11. Don remember how the phasing works.
12. Don know about crafting yet.
13. It will be balanced like any other mmo. Drawbacks and advantages.
14. No idea.
15. No idea.
16. Probably.

You seem to think your getting a multiplayer skyrim. Your not, the game is going to be more like a traditional mmo then it is an elder scrolls game. But that's not a bad thing really.

It will be like every other MMO. Repetitive grind for items/skills used to grind higher 'level' instances for better items/skills all while com, pletely igonoring the lore and immersion because of the furry lovers acting out sex fantasies and silly names, not to mention the fact that the mostly-static world will respawn all the instances and death will be a minor inconvenience.
It will be plagued by bots and hackers and idiots runnign around griefing noobs etc. but a few people will enjoy getting together to run group "number-crunching" sessiosn with their calculated team of DD,Tank, Healer and so on.

You Sound as if you have Given Up Life and Fun!:bro:

This is my exact fear for the game. If it's going to be more MMO and less Elder Scrolls. I really don't think I'll be playing. And I love Elder Scrolls. I've played since damn near the beginning. I remember waiting for Morrowind to come out. I remember giving up on Oblivion because it lacked too much of a Immersive feel. I don't want another crap MMO, I could get those for free all day. I want an Elder Scrolls game that I can play with friends.
No fear if TESO is BaD there will another fillin the Gap!

Lol, that's a horrible thing. I play alot of MMO's and the reasons I play them are not the same reasons I play Elder Scrolls. Without an Immersive Environment, There isn't really a point to an Elder Scrolls game. It's like playing Warcraft for years then trying WoW for the first time. 2 completely different games.
WoW sucks btw........
it will probably the biggest dissapointment in recent gaming history, i wish they would find a way to make everyone choose lore friendly names, or AT LEAST they could ban FOREVER idiots with stupids names like "Lickmycrit" or "Vampygurl" or "Lord_king_vampire_of_the_realm_of_death" or "gangstakillah" or sad losers with female characters with names like "Sasha grey" or "lexi belle"
:markarth: Btw don't read One-Moment's post. he's as clueles as the rest of us but for some reason feels like he knows the answers. lol. :solitude:
