Help! - Gmod Maps problem!!!

Everytime I enter a Gmod server and I dont have said map all the addons and map info speeds past and it says- Missing map <map> disconnecting. * I am not resorting to downloading every map from the internet.
Things I've tried
-Restarted my computer
-Restarted steam
-verified game files
-reinstalled gmod 6 times (twice the reinstalling seemed to fix the problem but it soon came back)
-allowed files from servers
-deleted all my maps (bad choice- never got them back and the only one I have is abandoned mall so all I can play is abandoned mall 24/7)

Any help would be appreciated

well i want to conect into abandoned mall in zombie survival but i cant join if it keep saying missing map so can you help me how to join in that map?

Well I fixed this problem a while ago. You have to go and either find it in the community and that map will "Unjam" the problem and other maps will download aswell. Or you just restart your entire steam, Go into Gmod options in game and click "allow all server downloads" and try again.
