A) This is not an instant messaging service. This is a forum. Be patient and wait for replies. Do not bump your thread, especially after only six minutes. That's just rude and shows that you are very impatient.

B) There are ~2000 games on Steam and you have neglected to mention a single one, or whether this ping problem is happening with every game.

What games? Does the slow ping happen for all the Steam games or a few?

it happens on team fortress 2, source multiplayer mods like the hidden, suicide survival, zombie panic source etc, im running windows 7 ultimate 32bit btw if that helps, when i first installed it games worked online fine for like 30 minutes before it messed up.

try to "verify your local cache" for TF2. Under your library for your games, right click for that game and go to "properties", then look for verifying your game cache under 1 of the tabs.

Check to ensure your router and firewall are not blocking access through ports required for the games.

You might also find it beneficial to take a look at this Steam Support Article, too:

however, if you're using mods, then that may be what's wrong. not all mods work well.

In addition to that, do you have anyone else using your internet connection, or have any updates going on in the background, such as Anti-Virus updates or Windows updates?

ive tried late at night when no one is using the internet, i download windows updates manually i choose when to download them and only antivirus thing i have is microsoft security essentials and this problem existed before i installed that

In that case I'd suggest checking your router ports and/or contacting your ISP's customer service about this.

If you have a family member or friend who is tech-savvy it may also be worth contacting them and seeing if they can help you in person, as helping someone check router ports is a lot easier when you are checking the router yourself because there are many different routers out there all running different firmware.
