How to save binded keys in TF2 (HELP FOUND)
I regularly bind messages to my keyboard and change the tf2 controls. One problem I have found is that tf2 doesn’t seem to save these binded keys upon exit so I have to bind the same keys every time I start the game. I was wondering if there was any way to make tf2 record binded keys so that I wouldn't have to bind every time I start it up.

Use CFG's to save settings.

Create a file called autoexec.cfg (you can use Notepad ++ or just Notepad) and put this in common/team fortress 2/tf/cfg/
Inside the CFG file you can set every console command on each line.
example :

//your CFG
bind mouse4 "explode;say Exploded into oblivion"
bind mouse5 "say Ubercharge me!"

Learn More..

You only have to execute this script once by typing : exec autoexec
