Opt out of the trading card nonsense.
Like it says on the tin, I have no interest in these annoying clutter-fodder 'trading cards'. I want to opt-out. turn off getting them. Deleting them would also be welcome. Help me out here Valve, I want nothing to do with this gimmick.

why not just market them and get the free steam cash?

What harm does it actually do you? Can't always get what you want in life, you'll learn that eventually. Sorry mate.

Sell them or ignore them. I doubt it's going away or allow any opt out option.
Antihero 53 Aug 4, 2013 @ 6:09pm

If you collected enough of them (simply by playing the games which have them, not hard) then you could even probably trade them for a game.
Sorry pal, not possible at the moment. And it's likely it won't be possible ever either. But you're lucky - there are a few options available! :D:

• People on the Steam Trading Card official group will gladly accept your free cards.
Trust me, in no more then 30 seconds you'll get rid of all of them, and make many people happy. Also you could make a few friends!

• Other than that there's a nice group that runs bot that will take also donations for cards, so you'll get rid of them even faster.

Set them for sale on the store for 3 cents. It's equivalent to deletion as you'll never see them again.

They're worth like 15-30 pence. o.O That's what quite of a few people and some of my friends have been shifting them at anyway.
