How to invite to game or trade with status being offline?
I hate how your friends all show up as offline if you switch your own status to offline. I get invited to chat or game a lot by various friends and sometimes I just want to avoid the mayhem but still play with a particular somebody. Is there a way I can invite to game or trade without having to expose myself as online?

Im afraid there isnt a way to do this other than just ignore it. You could invite them to a game then turn your status to offline however.

No problem. You could always go down to the suggestion part of the forums and suggest things such as an invisible status for your friends list.
