Big Picture Mode Problems

Two days ago I was able to take screenshots with my xbox controller (home button + RT) while playing games in big picture mode but recently due to a update with steam it just will not work anymore. I'm wondering if this issue is just on my end or not. Also just hitting the home button on the controller isn't bringing up the steam overlay in big picture mode anymore.

Same problem here. Using a wirless xbox 360 controller. Home button and both analog sticks not working in Big Picture. Everything on the controller works perfect in games. So I know it's a steam issue. Just noticed this happening today, it worked last night.

Same here. Must be a bug in the current version of the software. Please fix!

Unbelievable. Another Big Picture problem. They had just fixed the web/friends issue 2-3 weeks ago.
Now a few days ago a new stable release, and we get another problem that will probably not be fixed for weeks. How do they do that? How do you release a broken stable build? Does nobody test it? The Guide button is the most basic Big Picture feature.

Same here. Xbox 360 wired controller, sticks don't work in Big Picture (only DPAD), HOME doesn't bring up the overlay in games.

Most recent update has caused this only thing you can do is wait for an update to fix it.

Yeah, this kind of sucks. Can only use the d-pad, plus my buttons were reveresed, and half functioning.

Wired 360 controller no longer working in BP mode as well. Was working fine last week.

This is happening to me too, it just started recently as well, like within the last few days. It sucks because I can't accept game invites in games without exiting the whole game, and I can't accept voice chats or anything like that either. Also when exiting games back to big picture mode my controller stops working with it sometimes and I need to go get the mouse and click on the screen before it will accept my controller inputs again.

I posted here also. And I submitted a problem ticket with Steam, waiting to hear back.
I suggest everyone here submit tickets with them on their support portal, let them know about it officially.
