i have the doom3 (retail box) = coop mod !
booth games nice ;) i luv id
You should just play it as it is, it's an awesome, fun game. There's no need to have multiplayer in everything.
Co-op and multiplayer are two very different things.
In any case the game is perfectly fine on your own. It's also much scarier that way. ;)
Oh, I think I see what you're saying, not that the game itself is a waste but that this particular *edition* is a waste. Is the 'BFG' edition supposed to have the co-op? If not, what is different about the 'BFG' edition? I'm fairly sure it has some added material of some sort in it. I am unfortunately not familiar with the 'BFG' one because I have the original, from way back in the day, non Steam version on my pc. :) I miss the days of actual boxed games with discs and manuals ...
If the game description (on the store page) actually states that co-op comes with the game, yet it does not, then this is a pretty clear case of false advertising and the game should be refunded, but you would likely have to contact the developer about the matter.
