Steam market bots?
Are people using bots to snipe and grab low cards? i only ask because when i post a stacking card at .03 payout with .02 fee, (.05 cents) it's literally gone the split second i agree to post it. I know steam has craptons of users, but i did this a few times for experimenting reasons, and everytime it's like someone has superhuman reflexes. You have to factor in loading a page or refreshing the page to view it, then clicking the buy, then clicking agree, then finally it lets you buy it (atleast thats how i do it, by hand) I know people have built steam api bots before, I'm wondering if this is the case.

yep, steam market bots do exist, and while steam do take actions agaisnt some offenders, their response so far has been... sub-par

It wouldn't surprise me if this were the case. Overly eager card buyers doesn't seem too likely when the difference is <20 cents

Many people just hunt for given card and keeping refresh on card page so with hundreds or thousands "Hunters" bargain TC can disappear with a wink:). Trust me, if you're hunting for a while, you can really master thunder-quick 3 clicks:).
Yes but the problem i'm seeing is i click the agree to sell button, and 3 cents pops in my account right as i click
seems like a bot.

Yes, maybe you're right. But still, I'm very active SM trader and I was able many times to buy exceptional low TC. I think (perhaps I'm wrong) if bots were present, real person wouldn't be able to beat a bot?
Hmm. I don't doubt it could be that, it's just that steam always seems so slow for me. I'd assume some sort of latency would be in play for market transactions on my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ internet.
Managed to find a bot user on the Steam Community Market making 20.000$+ in 1-2 months.

Also managed to track down around 20 +/- of his alts which he's using to snipe.

Anyone know how to reach steam to take action against this guy?

Also... I'm in possesion of evidence to all of these Alts accounts botting the SCM.

Why don't you simply report the user?

Then theres not enough evidence.
Trust me, there is... got many videos of me putting a Buy Order, then several seconds later the bot does with 0.01 - 0.03 cents higher, then me selling the specific item for that price so I can trace that bot. Many videos on many different items.

That's a built-in bot on the market.

You might've misread or misunderstood him. He placed the highest buy order, and a few seconds later a slightly higher order was placed.

Might be good for selling your stuff I guess, inflate the purchase price a bit. Other than that, who cares.

Still, no harm done. The point of buy orders is to spend as much as you want to spend. If someone places a higher order, then he's simply willing to spend more.

There is, the bot does only offer on items that can have specific paterns/effects which means that he can have a less worth pattern but also a very high one which is very profittable. Which is why he earned more than 15k in a month and snipes all the items day in day out.
