xbox controller bug in viking battle for asgard

hi guys, when i play viking battle for asgard with mouse and keyboard everything is fine, but as soon as i activate my xbox controller my char goes in block stance and wont stop blocking until i hold down RT, how can i fix this?
it doesnt matter wether i activate the controller and then start the game or vice versa, also it is not a controller problem since when i play dark souls or grid or any other game i have no issues.

The game is notorious for not working properly with the Xbox Controller. You could look up the controls for the Xbox version of the game and then re-map them to work.

ok how do i do this? when i start the game and choose configure game i shows me the xbox controller and allows me to change the buttons BUT only to m+kb

I haven't played the PC version so im not sure but ive looked it up and their is a way to remap the buttons search all the menus etc it should be their somewhere.

where did u look it up? could u link it pls? cause i googled my ass out and didnt find anything D: i also opened a ticket at sega support but well, they take their time.
there is no menu to change the buttons ingame, my only hope atm is that someone knows how to tweak the ini file.

yeah that is the only remap option that i found it pops up when i start the game and choose configure game, but i send a friend request to this ashar guy, probably he has a solution for me.
