Optimal Fraps settings?
So I have Fraps and I got a computer recently I would love to know from the community what the optimal setting for best audio and visual from Fraps. I have the Chimera from iBUYPOWER and it is a beast, both in size and performance, http://www.ibuypower.com/Store/Chimera_4SE-E1 This link has the specs listed in it. So how about forums? What is the best settings for fraps to record for you tube? BTW I want to keep my games quality settings at high and I do not lag while recording with full screen at 30fps.

You want an internal HDD to record to. One you can format regularly so you have a fresh HDD to record onto each time. That way you'll be locked at 30/60 fps just fine. You should record at 60fps too because otherwise you'd be playing at 30fps, which is horrible >.< Personally I can't stand it.
After recording you'd use Vdub to compress the fraps codec into something like a H.264 MP4 codec, or similar codec. Then you'll have much smaller files and very good quality video.
Also before compressing, change fps to 30 to save upload time.

Ok I do record at 30 fps so I will up to 60 fps and I recently got Vegas 11 so can I use that for compressing? I know fraps raw files are massive and I used to use windows movie maker to do small edits and compress to HD. How can I change the Fps after I have taken the video? I knwo youtube only runs at 30fps but I didn't know you could change the Fps afterwards. Also what do you mean by internal HDD?
Thanks for the help though!

he meant that the frapped videos folder is saved within your harddisk that is connected directly to your motherboard, not the one usb plugged external hdd
