Why is my steam in German?

How do I take the German off! Im on Chrome using Steam as my client is having some... issues.

I believe if your steam client is in German, click on Steam (upper left) go to settings (2nd from bottom) then the third tab (interface) and change the first thing to English. I think that will work.

This can happen if you did a search on Google or some other search engine and went to a page in a specific language.

Just do a Google search for any Steam page, and pick one that's in English.

just goto the arrow besides your avatar and klick the 3nd to change language if in web browser

Click on "Steam" (upper left) > Settings > Interface and you change your language?
