How to get a game background on my Steam Profile?

Hello, I've seen poeple on Steam with a background on their profile, and I would like to know how to do it. Everyone who I've seen that has it has a high Steam Level. Does that have anything to do with it? Thanks!

You recieve a profile background with every badge you craft. However you can also trade with people to get profile backgrounds or purchase them from the comunnity market.

How do you craft badges? (Sorry, I'm new to this trading card, badge crafting thing)

You craft badges by collecting a set of cards. You get these cards by playing trading card enabled games or by buying and trading them.

You have to be level 10 to use them I do believe

NOOO! I assumed they were only for showing and selling. I've had at least 3 sets and just sold them. :c I really want a background, too.
