Trouble Syncing YouTube Account

So as we all know, Google made this annoying new policy where your email is linked to like 12 different Google accounts. So when I try to link my Steam and YouTube accounts, it for some reason can only connect to my Google account which doesn't host any videos.

So my question is this- has anyone else experienced this and know how to change accounts under the same email within Steam? I know perfectly well how to do it on the internet, but is Steam able to access Google+ accounts?
