NOT ABLE TO INVITE FRIENDS TO A L4D2 CAMPAIGN

Everytime I try to invite a friend I get this message.

"Steam Community In-Game

This feature requires Steam Community In-Game to be enabled.

You might need to restart the game after you enable this feature in Steam.

Steam -> File -> Settings -> In-Game: Enable Steam community In-Game"

The point is, I have this Mac Book Pro and I just cant make it work, I go to the App Foldier, right click "Steam" and show package content. (No file thingy) I go to steam Menu and try to find the In-Game thingy in Settings and nothing. someone could tell me step by step what to do?!

I'm a Mac user with the same problem. I have gone to Steam preferences - under "In Game" I have made sure the "Enable Steam Community In-Game" box is checked. I have unchecked it and re-checked it and I continue to get the same error that you describe.
