Splitting Money From a Visa Gift Card?
Is there anyway you can split money from a Visa Gift Card? Lets say my card has $24 on it and I want to only to deposit $12 in steam and the other $12 for something else like shopping? Is it even possible? Cuz im a really conservative person and I dont want to spend all my money I get on steam. If its possible thanks.

I think u cant use Visa Gift Card on steam, as its not a credit card. Anyway it works like a debit card, so its like if u have 24$ in your account and u can use it all the times u want while u have money in your account. So u can try to deposit 12$ on steam but i dont think u would be able to do it.

IF by "deposit" you mean the steam wallet funds, then for exactly 12, no. They have preset load amounts for that, of $5, 10, 25, 50 and 100 i believe. Also, might be all in USD, i believe, atleast it is for me in Australia. so there's also the currency conversion.

If you only want to use $12 on steam, i'd say just use the card when you go to check out your cart on steam and.

Though just keep in mind the sorts of currency conversion and transaction fees that may occur.

For example everytime i make a transaction with my pre paid reloadable credit card, theres a 9 cent fee, up to 99cent max per month. but if i also use it to buy things that calculate prices in $USD, there's a conversion fee of 3% of the total cost, so if i spend $100, fees would be $3.09 as well as whatever amount the 100 converts too, so it could even be more than that amount.

If you live in the US, then it should be much simpler for you though, without the conversion part.
