Help: Steam lost track of games in 2nd hard drive
Just what I need, Steam somehow managed to lose track of my installed games in my 2nd hard drive. For example, while trying to launch Scribblenauts from my 2nd hard drive, the game itself appears greyed out, as if it weren't installed, yet I've checked and it's right there. Apparently, Steam only recognizes my main HDD for Steam games and I can't chose another one unless the folder is empty.

Does that mean I have to erase all my games in my 2nd hard drive to let Steam use that disk again to install them once more?

I found one man! Just go to settings>downloads and where it reads "Manage content locations in multiple drives", click on the box there and find the exact folder where your games are stored. For me it was D:\SteamLibrary. Hope this helps!

Did you try verifying the files?

Weird man. I got that same message once. I did try again and it worked. Have you made sure it's exactly the folder where your games are instead of the steam folder?

I don't have the client installed here so I'll have to guess: Right-click the game whose files you want to verify and click "Properties". On the "Local Files" tab (I think), click "Verify Local Files" (or something like that). That has helped me in situations similar to yours.

Could you perhaps try to shut down Steam and restart it? Worked for me one time that games went missing.
