Removing Expired/Unwanted Gifts

It's pretty sad that I had to create an account to shovel all my unwanted/expired gifts onto.

Will there ever be a way to delete these gifts? I notice that I can delete the steam trading card beta invites, but not expired ArmA3 alpha invites? They even say "- Expired" so Steam knows they aren't good anymore.

Untill we can delete them, I'll just keep this account to send all my expired stuff to (If anyone wants, feel free to send any expired gifts to this account, too.)

On a side note, I'm well on my way to obtaining the largest collection of expired gifts in the known universe!

Not yet. Just add Expired Gifts as a friend. Once he accepts, go into your inventory and gift the expired stuff to Expired Gifts on your Steam friends list.

Mr. Expired, next time we're both online I'll trade you some vouchers too. I don't want to see these vouchers in my inventory for 3 years until they expire in 2016

Glad I can help. I knew I couldn't be the only one that hated having these things in my inventory.

Alas, I can't trade until the 31st (15 days after activating steam guard.)

There are already bot accounts for collecting gifts and betas. Not a new concept.

Really? I couldn't find anything when searching for on ways to remove expired gifts. What are they called?

I dunno their names. There was one bot for distributing the trading card beta invites. What you need to do is figure out how to automatically add and remove friends from the bot so that you don't have to login to do it.

Thanks for pointing it out, though. I searched for "steam gift bot" and found one that was made for dota 2. Since I have nothing better to do, I'll look at automating the acceptance of gifts this weekend.

I'm glad Steam lets you do all this from the web.
