Can't finish my downloads, please add a torrent/magnet system to download the games

I spent last week trying to finish to download TF2(6gb with a 4mb connection) unsuccesfully, the download simply restart if it is resumed after the 50%. Today I made the huge mistake of purchase Max Payne 3 which is 30gb(obviously I didn't read that), and I know I will never be able to play it because of this. Obviously one solution would be that I try to download it without pauses, well, at least 1 year ago the downloads used to keep suspend themselves without any reason, which means I costantly have to watch them, also I really don't want to keep my pc costantly on(more than ever during summer).

So since even a company like Blizzard, which is not the most open minded about this kind of stuff, allows you to download every game in every language via torrent, can't you do something similar? at least for the vanilla game(with vanilla I mean without patches/updates/whatever) and/or at least for the bigger ones.

Conclusion: please implement a torrent system for the downloads because this is becoming the classic example of: "I'm able to play it only if I pirate it"

have you phoned your isp it sounds a like isp problem

Why would you need to torrent when Steams download speeds are fine? It makes no sense. Start the download and then go to bed. When you wake up it will be done. Watching it is not going to help.

@FiftyFour Bravo: It absolutely doesn't sound like that.

@facedown: It is not about the speed, it is about the stability of the download. I can't have downloads that decides to restart from 0 when I try to resume them after 50% because the client screw up things.
And again, as I mentioned before, I can't leave the download go through the night because (at least from what I saw when I tried it 1 year ago)it suspend itself without any reason, and anyway my connection is not fast enough to finish it in one night; and also I don't want to leave my pc run up through the night just because I can't pause a download without risk it will restart from 0.
