Can't sell or buy anything in community market due to password change.

It's Steam sale time and I've forgotten my password, so I've reseted my password and everything was ok.

But however, I can't seem to sell anything to the steam community market until Wednesday 17th July!
This is bad news for me as the steam sale only lasts for 2 weeks and I don't want to wait half of the sale time just to have the ability to sell my card and items.

I would like to be able to sell cards and items asap.

Same Situation for me since yesterday. It sucks indeed! Does someone know if this cooldown can be avoided by making a shop purchase?

Resetting your password is correlated with fradulent activity, thus the cooldown.

I have this problem too..
It is understandable, and it is helping keep our accounts safe.
Although its annoying, we have to put up with it. its there for our safety :)

I also have this problem and I know of no way to fix it. I have to wait until the 18th to get the one last card I need.

Ok, even a purchase of a game in the store in order to show, that the account isn't compromised, can't avoid the 5-days cooldown. This sucks so much!

Argh. I reset my password to use 'login with steam' on another site and now my plans to spend the next few days playing the sale card market for tiny profits to buy Bad Rats for all my friends, family, and enemies is ruined. :(

Is it possible that due to this market-restriction one does also receive no booster-packs anymore? Atleast I have this impression.

ugh same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ problem here i have an item that is currently selling for 500 dollars and watch thee price drop to 5 when i can sell it we should have an option throught email for this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ its pissing me off

The problem is that too many people that got their Steam account compromised also got their email account compromised, usually by using the same password.
