Payment method not working

when I tryed to add funds to my wallet I got this error"There seems to have been an error initializing or updating your transaction. Please wait a minute and try again or contact support for assistance.", so I removed the card and now I cannot add it to make purchases. how do I fix this

No it's just luck of the click, that's all i can see. every now and then i get further in the process but not got all the way yet.

Yeah I got that once too. Hopefully thats a sign its their fault not the CC companies flagging us.

I just managed to purchase Grid 2.

I got an error message after clicking purchase at the final step - but when I checked my library the game was there and I'm downloading it right now - so hopefully the issue is on the verge of being fixed.

Payment services are fine. It's Steam that's struggling. Surely if payment services can handle unexpected heavy loads, companies like Steam can handle *expected* heavy loads. Just takes a bit of preparation is all. In any case, I'm sure the load will even out in a couple of hours at most, hopefully. Once everyone stops hitting F5 all at the same time :D

You can never really prepare for Murphy's law.

Hope so, 2 failed transactions now in my Steam account, and one of the cards is showing held funds (which will hopefully disappear after a couple of days). Hey ho, I'll wait until tomorrow!

I thought it worked, skyrim was downloading a big patch (I bought DLC for it) and Bioshock appeared in my game list...

Now they've vanished again? What?

hey guys quick info about it:-) currently steam servers have about 5 million people online, and only 700k of tyhem are in game. that means that aboiut 4-5 million people are searching and browsing for their favorite games. just as us. steam servers arent maked for 3-4 million people buying 1-10 games at 1-4 hours. and if u saw before the sail there were about 2,5 million, suddently the sail came , and about 2,5 million players logged on. simply too many on the steam server. :-)
