Paypal purchase error, anyone eles?

I'm trying to purchase brave new world! but it won't let me!

"The payment processor has reported an authorization failure. Please select a different payment method."

I have funds on my PP account and everything. This looks to be a steam problem, not a paypal problem; since I just made a purchase on another site and it worked fine.

WHAT DO I DO?! I WANT TO PLAY TEH CIV5 XPAC

Now it won't even let me access the purchase page;

"There seems to have been an error initializing or updating your transaction. Please wait a minute and try again or contact support for assistance."

I'm having the same issue right now. I found a great deal on a tf2 item on the steam market place, but I couldn't add funds to buy it! Now it's gone... Steam needs to step it up

I've contacted both Paypal and Steam, other threads with similar error messages haven't been answered/pursued. Seems like a brick wall has been hit.

I finally got funds added using PayPal, but now steam tells me I have to wait a week (for verification because I used a new payment method) before I can use them.
If I had known that ahead of time I would have cancelled the transaction as I wanted to buy some good deals on the Market too.

Same issue with me, Sometimes it goes through and sometimes it doesnt. And i know 100% i got more than enough money to buy the games i want during the summer sale.

No Problems for me since Sale started. If you have an issue try it early in the morning or late in the afternoon.
