How to make a steam shortcut?

I want to make a desktop shortcut for my steam library/the steam store, and I think that's as specific as I can be :/

Try this, go to computer/local disc(probably C:)/program files(x86)/steam - there you will find the steam application file. Just right click- send to- desktop shortcut

If steam is already installed on your computer then go to the start key (On windows computer) and search "Steam" after you have found it drag it onto your wallpaper and voila!

if you deleted it go into recycle bin find the application right click then hit undo...

It's quite simple; click on the windows icon in the bottom left and find steam them drag it to your background/desktop them you have a steam shortcut! - this is to specify [MLG] Gnarltoof's comment!
