Issue with Paypal?

I have used Paypal all the time for purchases on Steam with no problems. Today I keep getting authorization issues, but if I use the credit card that is tied to my Paypal account directly it works fine. Just curious if it's just me or something larger

I had this problem last night as well. I was wondering what happened as PayPal has worked flawlessly on Steam in the past. I contacted Steam support but haven't heard anything back. I hope they fix this soon.

Try opting in for the steam beta and see if that helps. If not, then try clearing your Paypal info and re-entering it back in. It needs to be exactly as it is in Paypal. I hope that helps fix your problem.

Well it would appear that I can't get my billing information the same even if I wanted to, the "select a province" option no longer exists for canada...that might be the source of my problem, not sure about anyone else.

My main concern with that is that there isn't a select a province option for Canada as the one above me mention. Everything else is the same.

Also, I'm unsure how (but willing to try) how the beta opt in would help as I tried the Steam browser and 3 different internet browsers...all with the same result.

I sent a support ticket mentioning the missing "select a province" option for canada, doubt I'll get a reply tonight, at least not before I'm off to work.Hopefilly it'll be fixed by sometime tomorrow.

Yeah, I was always in the beta and it didn't fix the problem. I also reentered my info, but as mentioned, there was no option for the province for Canada and since the Steam info has to match Paypal's I agree that is most likely the issue. I couldn't remember if it used to be there or not, but now that someone else mentioned it I do recall seeing the province there before.

I re-entered my information on steam, and the paypal purchase went through okay.

Same problem as you guys this morning ... was working great last week and for years ... can't add fund to Steam wallet with Paypal now ... and yes there's no field for province if you're Canadian... argg. Solution? Re-entering info doesn't help...
