What to play next?

Ok so my wife and me have just moved across the country and all i can do is wait and watch my daughter at the hotel until we find a suitable house to rent. I am bored out of my mind and i can't seem to spend more than an hour playing anything i already have. I am looking for a sandbox game to fill that void. We have had some bad luck since getting here, mainly my 2007 jeep has thrown a rod so i can't evne fix it until we find a house. Needless to say I'm depressed and i need a game to get lost in. Once again, im looking for sandbox, rpg type play. Skyrim, fallout ect, just not those. Heres what i got rpg wise that i don't care to play:

I have played them all and i can't play them for the time being.. i need somthing else that is an RPG with sandbox play, crafting, gathering ect. Let me know your ideas! Thanks

i am actually trying to steer clear from controller and mmo games, i don't have all my pc crap setup, most is in strage and my internet is extremely unstable at this hotel.

Just in case you haven't chosen yet (or, more likely, you're looking for another one now) you might want to give Dark Souls and/or Terraria a go. But if you really want something immersive and epic try Stalker CoP with the mod "Misery", it perfects the game. Plus Misery 2.0 is coming out in just a few days (July 30/31). Hope you found something either way :)

Unepic is awesome, but it is a platformer.
I suggest System Shock 2, an amazing rpg/horror blend that still delivers a lot of fun.

Also, Dungeons of Dredmor is really awesome for a cool roguelike rpg type game. Lots of hilarious references in it.
