I can't trade after i reset my password, help pls!

I reset my password 10 days ago and i still can't trade. Every time when i try to trade with someone i get this: You recently forgot and then reset your Steam account's password. You will not be able to trade until about five days after the most recent password reset. Pls help me!

Was your steam account inactive before resetting your password?
From Steam Support Site:Steam Trading

If you reset your password, you will be restricted from trading for 5 days. If your account has not had any activity for more than 2 months, you will be restricted from trading for 30 days. We do this to help protect users who lose access to their email account. Note that this does not affect password changes, only password resets.

You have to wait for teh cooldown. It cannot be removed/reduced.

i have the same problem i cant use the market until the 26th and my acount wont let me trade

Well i opened steam on google to look at something real quick (even though I had it open on my desktop already) and it asked me to sign in and do the "special code" thing. Cant trade for 7 days now. Funny thing, i had just bought a couple things from marketplace.tf and now i gotta wait a week. They need to make a way to like speed up the "cooldown" for the account. So that you dont wait a week for something you paid for.

You can still trade from the client, your 7 day wait is only on the browser you just logged into for the first time.

Yes, authorizing a new device will only restrict trading for that device. After all, if an attacker hijacks your account, he's going to use HIS computer, not yours.

On the other hand, if you reset the password, that's something that affects the entire account. Hence, the trade cooldown will be on all devices.
