Steam Wallet gift code?

Just bought a Steam Wallet $20 code. However, even with all the "support" tips on this site, I can't find the area/link to add the code onto my Steam account.

Any directions? would be appreciated. (Yes I'm new to this)

uhhhhhhhhhhhhh, im prty sure u got scammed. as far as i know, there is no such thing as a wallet code

Well, all my friends have gotten and used them before. I even watched them use it. But the area that "should" show up on my screen to put it in isn't there. and that's also following Steam Support. right on the site.

i just know about this:

Fake Steam Wallet Messages in Steam Chat
As some of you may be aware if you use the command /me in Steam chat and type anything afterwards it changes color of the font in the chat window.

Please understand there is NO WAY to transfer Steam Wallet funds through Steam Trading. If a user says they are going to send you money for your items and the text turns blue/green they are trying to scam you.

Please do not accept any of these trades as we will not restore your items to your account.

If you wish to earn wallet credit on Steam you can do so using the Community Market here: http://steamcommunity.com/market/

The February 14th Steam Client update removed this feature.

"4.Log into your Steam account (or make one if you don't have one) and go to "Redeem a Steam Wallet Code"
5.In the resulting screen enter your code into the “Steam Wallet Code” field."

This, isn't showing up for me. And I bought the card at EBGames

ya disregard my previous messages then, u bought like a gift card, and sorry ive never redeemed those so idk how, although i dont see it saying redeem steam wallet code anywhere on steam

click the games tab, it says redeem steam wallet code

open up steam, and go to games in the top left corner. click activate a product on steam and then enter your code. hope this helps :)
