Trading Card limit

Me and my friend are currently discussing something and we need your help...in the *trading card drop limit* it says that if you acquire 3/6 cards for a game you cannot acquire any more cards for that game. So does that mean that if you got 3/6 of the cards can you get duplicates of the 3 you already got?

From what I understand, you will be able to only get 3 out of the 6 cards from drops. The other three will have to be acquired through trading. So, hopefully you won't be trading for duplicates. I am sure you could trade for duplicates if you really wanted to.

That is not what i meant Wildcatnate, i meant can you get duplicates of the cards you already got when you reached the limit by just playing the game?

You get an allotment of drops. About half of the deck. Duplicates count against this allotment of drops, just the same as cards you need. Once your limit is up, you are done. No duplicates. No new cards. You could technically get 3 of the same card and then need 5 of the remaining 6 to complete the deck. You would have to buy or trade for them.

ok thanks guys but...dang that REALLY sucks....so if you got a badge after crafting it would you need to trade ALL 6 cards now to upgrade the badge?

when you get your card drops you'll be able to find booster packs(pack of 3 cards) randomly for the game

can you get more than one booster pack or you can find one and then, well, your done?

You can keep finding booster packs but theyre rare. You might get one once a week, you might get one once a year... for a random game that you've maxed your drops on. It might not even be the game you want.
