How to change password?

Apparently somebody tryed to hack into my account and i had to put in a code for my account and they said to change your password IMMEDIATELY!!! So how do i do that? I dont want my account stolen.

Go to "Steam" (top left) "Settings" "Account" tab "Change Password or Secret Question"

Im not on the dashboard steam thing,and it says im offline. I knew that for awhile but it was trying to regain connection for hours. I was watching lord of the rings waiting for it to load,i know completely random (The Two Towers like 50 minutes in on the 1st half split edition just saying) I dont know how to get it to be online mode.

As for reconnecting, could you please try opening Steam up, then going "Steam" and "Check for Steam Client Updates"

Ok ill try that, not blu ray sorry. Extended edition. I never finished the lord of the rings saga only watched the first movie and i still had all of them so i was like "what the heck."

No that did not work and it said its up to date. So I looked around and it said something on the bottom that would disable offline mode so i just hit it to see what happened.

Hmm...I was in another thread a bit ago and someone was having an issue like this...do me a "solid" as they say and change your password. Apparently this may somehow help hehe
