The product key for a game I bought doesn't work!
I tried this product key twice and it still doesn't work. It's for Dark Souls. I bought it on Steam for $30 and I can't get it to work.

How did you buy it on Steam? When you buy on Steam, you get both the game and a CDKey, if required.

I bought it on the Steam Store. I have the key, it just doesn't work. It's that game for Windows Live thing. It claims that it is not valid.

Steam gives it to you when you launch the game and it also pops up in the corner and it says punch this in when it tells you to.

Did you copy it to the clipboard, then paste it in the GfWL when prompted? If you try to look at the key and type it in by hand, sometimes you can't see the last number(s).
