You can keep it where you like. You can just move it out of the Steam folder before you
un-install Steam. Then just move it back after you have installed Steam again.
If you have extra space for a backup, there is also a Backup and Reastore function available
from the Steam menu. If you are reading this from the Steam browser, you will find it in the
upper left corner. Just click on Steam, and it is the 4th option in the list.

My Steam games won't open.
Any tips on what to do and how to fix it?
I've tried most of the tips on the suggestions so I don't know what to do now.
The only thing that I have had to do was uninstall my gpu under my Audio sources in Device Manager and reinstall it so I could have sound while connected to the TV through HDMI out provided by the AMD card.
