Hidden: Source Dedicated server help!!

For the past week I've been working to create my own dedicated server. I have followed many different tutorials scattered around the web and none have solved my issue so far. I installed the dedicated server on my desktop under the folder "Hidden Server" and have installed Metamod along with Source mod. Both have been installed correctly i can join my own server in-game but the server only pops up under lan and i cant find it under the internet tab. I have had friends try to connect to it and none can. I've tried port forwarding and the necessary ports are open. (i used port checker to check)

Any help would be appreciated!!

Also when i type "sv_lan" into the server, the server responds with:
"sv_lan" = "0"
- Server is a lan server < no heartbeat, no authentication, no non-class C adresses >

What launch arguments are you using?

i created my own .bat file and this is the commands i used:

Try adding
-console -port 27015
Onto the srcds line, or whatever port number you use.

nope exactly the same as before :/ i tried creating a short cut and this is the command line i used : "C:\Users\Owner\Desktop\Hidden Server\srcds.exe" -console -game hidden +map hdn_Stalkyard -maxplayers 9 -autoupdate -port 27015

When you say "the necessary ports are open. (i used port checker to check)", have you actually forwarded the ports? Having the ports open is not the same thing, they need to point to your server IP and corresponding port number.
Aside from that, I am out of suggestions.

yes i believe so i used hidden UDP 27015 - 27020 and TCP 27015 there was a tutorial on the hidden forums that i followed told me to forward those ports.

I actually have the same issue (Bump?)
It was working perfectly yesterday, but today I started it up to have it set to lan
No idea what I changed, but I updated the episode1 and redownloaded the hidden server stuffs

Try putting sv_master_legacy_mode 0 then change it to one see if that helps
