I have my profile set up so that only logged in users can find me. Check your profile privacy settings through the Steam client and try again.

Edit - Also, just a FYI, you can't search for yourself while logged into your Steam account because you can't friend yourself. If its not already, try setting your Steam profile to all users and then try seaching for yourself while not logged in through your web browser.

Strange, I can find you just fine when I search for "bigestv".

You are the only result that comes up.

Your friends won't be able to add you unless they've purchased a game on Steam, just so you know. So maybe that's why they can't add you.

I'm surprised more people aren't complaining about this because EVERY time I go to search a friend I can't find them!!! they always have to search me and it somehow works for them...SOMETIMES like soo frustrating

Yo i found out why u actually need to use the link from his profile like if u have a custom link for your profile u need to use that . my name is YoTrixu but my link is trixuu when i try to find someone called YoTrixu nothing but when i use my link i find my acc
