Call of Juarez: Gunslinger Error-"Steam is required in order to play Call of Juarez: Gunslinger"
I recently got this game on my computer, but without using Steam at all. When I set up the game and I thought everything was ready to go, I double-click on the game and a message pops up saying that Steam is need to play the game. I have no idea what to do to fix this, so if anyone knows, please help me because I really want to play this game! Thanks :)

If you go to steam\steamapps\common\ do you see the game?

Worth trying, backup your appscache folder in steam, delete it, restart pc and give it a go.

No the game isn't there :( I didn't use Steam at all for the installation of the game so I don't know why it needs Steam.
