I Cant Change My Steam Account From Offline Mode To Online!

If you press "Steam" at the top left of the Steam window, it gives you a couple of options. Press the second one or "Go online..." Hope this works!

If the above tip doesn't work, you can try and restart your steam or computer by shutting it fully down.

If you log out and and then connect to the internet you should be on online mode when restarting steam. Hope it works :)

This is one reason not to have a game client in your Windows Startup. As what will happen on most machines is, your internet connection might not be fully connected before the game client launches, thus the game client will end up launching in Off-Line Mode. So it is best to let your desktop and internet connection fully load, then launch the game client u wish to use.

Please please help me! About 1 week ago i had problems connecting to the steam server and so i deleted steam but not my account, I tried to redownload steam but then it says steam needs to be online to update. The thing is, is that somehow its kinda locked in offline mode and i dont have steam installed now, so when i try it say ''steam must be online to update'' but as i said steam was locked in offline mode when i deleted it now when i try to redownload it it wont work. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
