The problem is Mafia II is now crashing, and no matter how many times I reinstall it the game will still crash.
I got it to work once without crashing, I right clicked it and ran as admin. I don't remember if I right clicked Mafia II or Steam to run as admin, but I played it for 1-2 hours from a new game and then decided myself to close it. I had no problems, but it is crashing again now.
Also there is no problem with other games. Splinter Cell Conviction, Assassins Creed 3, GTA IV/EFLC, GTA SA are all working fine. Just Mafia II is crashing.
Thanks for your input by the way Rossetti but it works fine now already.
All I had to do was start the game up, go into the Video settings from the main menu, and turn Apex PhysX all the way off. Haven't had a single problem ever since. And whatever differences there are in the physics system now, they're miniscule enough that I haven't noticed the change whatsoever.
Don't know if that'll fix it for anyone else out there, but probably worth a shot!
