The game only runs in a 640 x 480 resolution. Everything is so pixelated and sucks to play and there is no fix! However on the steam advertising, it all looks good, not one word of (if you have a modern graphic card this game will be impossible to play.)

Quite simple I want my money back ( or credit ) for mis-advertising

You really should check the game forum for what 1 you mean for more help. Games that not many people own will be harder to find fixes for in a general forum. Check out the game hubs.

Checked google and found a bunch of stuff right away, videos of the game running in 1080 and posts about AA working, also the game hub does have info about it too.

2 tips right away was run in a window and a thread on how to do that and then a comment about getting the gfx card drive to scale the game.

Go to the The longest journey game hub and make a thread, if they have active users youll get better help seeing as they own the game.

as for "games not may people own" it has a meta score of 91 and is 6 on the list of adventure games. what an mis-advertising disappointment on steams behave.

25 people in the world are playing it. Not bad for an older game.
(i had dreamfall on xbox so i do know a little about it. wouldn't call myself a fan but ive played it.)

It's a fantastic game. The visuals are poor by modern standards because (shocker!) it's an old game. All the backgrounds and videos are pre-rendered / drawn, so it is technically impossible to improve them without drawing them all again from scratch.

There's nothing wrong with your graphics card, this is just how the game was supposed to look and back in those days when people still played games at 640x480 it would have been fine.

my point is, that the steam advertising of the game makes it look like it is great,not so, it is pixelated and nearly impossible to play on 1920 x 1020 in an 640x480 . sorry but i just find the game unplayable in this format.

The screenshots on the Steam store page are all 640x480 screenshots taken directly from the game. Set your scaling options (on your monitor or graphics control panel) to stop scaling it to fullscreen and to maintain the correct aspect ratio.

I would like to put a formal complaint into steam about the mis-advertising of this game and the suitable of gameplay.

How do I do this please mod ?

Did you read any posts at all about fixing it? If you can do something about it that would be the 1st thing to try.

The game was released over 13 years ago. There is no mis-advertising going on. You just didn't understand what you were buying...

Take the advice and use the fixes/workarounds. It'll be a lot less hassle for you.

please post i would love a fix ! but for all the i can see there is no fix, this game runs in 640x480 only ! which = an undesirable, unplayable, unenjoyably experience. Not what was advertised on steam,

Nowhere does is say " this game is 13 years only and only runs in 640x480 ", "and will be pixelated on any moden system"

so i wish to put a formal complaint into steam about the mis-advertising of this game. please tell me how this is possible.
