Google Chrome App or Extension for Steam

Does anyone know of a Google Chrome App or Extension for Steam? I have a Samsung Chromebook and would love to install an app or extension that would connect to Steam Chat, etc.

I am looking for this type of extension really. I don't like using Steam client while I am not playing a game (because of bandwith problem) so I am looking for Chrome Extension to use Steam chat from browser. Can't you please make an official extension Valve or help developers to create one?

You dont need an extension to use steam chat in the browser, you just use steam chat in the browser.
