The SIms 3 University Life no CD key received & game not installing properly

I bought The Sims 3 University Life DLC from Steam yesterday, it downloaded the files, however whenever I launch The Sims 3 it thinks DLC isn't installed & when I right click The Sims 3 and look for DLC it's not listed there at all & didn't receive any kind of CD key like with base game and all the other DLC.


Apparently a couple of other people are having this same issue, all of them bought this DLC from Steam and apparently all of them are from either Norway, Denmark or Finland (I'm from Finland).

I've tried to reinstall TS3, verify its game files, add it manually to registry (which didn't work for me & isn't a real fix as I still wouldn't have the DLC in my library).

I always run Steam and all my games as administrator.

There's nothing I can do, this problem is entirely with Steam, not me.


So far no reply from support.

When I'm going to get something for the 40 euros I paid? Other users that have received replies from support have just gotten usual "run Steam as administrator, verify game files, reinstall etc" rubbish that doesn't work when the problem is in Steam's side.

I'm using Win 7 64 bit home.

Ok it's fixed now, didn't take as long as I feared.

It kinda hidden. I had trouble finding it to. On the paper that says SimCity limited edition. It's on the back at the very top.

Yeah in my case it was actually missing from the list at first, but then Steam support fixed it for me.
