how do I remove a friend request?

I requested a friend who is not who I thought he was. How do I remove it before he accepts?

Stating the obvious since im not acctualy sure how its done
is there a option to cancel it when you right click the persons name?
if not you can also try blocking him/her then removing them from your blocked list

On the friends list itself the word Friends is a pull-down menu. You want to show everybody not just online users. The yet unaccepted invite is at the bottom in the "INVITATIONS SENT" category. Right-click (or use the menu arrow rignt next to it) and choose "Remove this Friend..."

People you've sent friend requests show in your friends list at that point, you can remove them before they add you OR after they've added you. Open the friends window and they should be in the list there.
