How do you add a pre-installed game onto Steam?
I know that one must buy games to get them installed via Steam. But I wish to add a game that was installed on this computer before adding Steam so that I can play it via Steam. How do I do this?

down at the bottom of the steam app is an option for add a game. click that then 'add a non-steam game' and it'll be added to your library. only thing that'll be added is the steam overlay for chat and web browser, though, so you won't have access to achievements if that's the case

Add A Game -> Add a Non-Steam game?

(bottom left corner of your Steam client)

EDIT: Zeromaveric beat me to it! :)

It's not of any page. It's part of the Steam Client window frame and can be found in the bottom left corner of the Steam window.

If you can't find that, then use the drop down menu. Games -> Add a Non-Steam Game...
