CS:GO When Friend joins we lose connection?
I have a few computers at my house I built & have done this plenty of times before with Source & other games.
When I join a Public Server on this computer then invite my friend who is on the other computer behind me. As soon as he gets to the loading screen; my game freezes then the Connection Warning top right pops up. Both of us can not connect to the same server, but when I join one server then he joins another server it works fine!!!! Till he tries to join the server Im in boom connection loss.
What is there a lan block of some sort???
I can play any other game multi-player online, co-op online, & everything else, but GO....

We even tried:
Connecting visa versa,
Powered down Router & Modem. Along with comptuers.
Reset Router with the reset button.
Checked all cmd-ipconfigs..

WHAT THE HECK IS GOIN ON???

One of you need to apply the executable parameter -port 27016 in order to increase the port number by one.

The network connection works with Sockets, which is an IP + port. If both the IP and the port are the same, there is no difference between your computers' network interfacing and you will not be able to play together.

Thanx for ur responce.
Yea, but how can they end up with the same port when they r in 2 different interfaces & I know ur not talkin port as in plugs. Im sayin each "plug" should have its own port number randomized by the router. But isnt the port mostly used for fowarding? Plus any other game works fine even after I restarted my router. Yet if I restarted my router that should have renewed my ip.
It works fine on Source & any other game.

If you have a router, that makes it even more problematic. Make sure you diversify the ports on each computer since the router does not choose the ports for you, it only forwards them as, something it cannot do if both machines use the same ports.

Make sure there is no forwarding rule on the router, as that would override 2 machines connecting to the same gameserver. You can also disconnect your router and instead install a Switch or Hub if your ISP allocates more than 1 IP for you, to resolve the issue.

Both machines r not using the same ports & yes it gives me a new number for each pc connected every time. I done this before I even do port forwarding with ventrilo and team speak so Im not too far dumbfounded about it.
Again if the ports were the same I would not be able to play any other game online multiplayer. There i no fowarding set anyways causes I reformatted & my router sets r blank cause I reset the system as well.

If ur thinkin about me runnin a dedicated server & havin him join lan is not what I am talkin about... Im talkin about plublic play online.

Ok, open up CSGO on both computers. Type net_status in console on both clients. Does it say the same ports on both computers? There's your issue.

One should say 27015, 27005, and one should say 27016, 27006 or anything different from the first. If they are both the same, you need to apply -port 27016 to one of the computers.

Hold on I appreciate ur help let me take a shot at this. I have to get my monitor off this one trade & start up. Give me a sec if u dont mind.
Ok this is what Im gettin on this one
- Ports: cl0 27005, sv1 27015, htv2 27020, 3 total.
But for some odd reason I can not get the Console to open up on other PC. I even shut the ~ option off and turned it back on... Now thats messed up, but u think I can get that port threw the cmd ipconfig?

Just add -port 27016 to the executable command line parameters of ONE computer and try it out.

Game>Properties>Command line options> "-port 27016" > OK.
There is no Command line options u mean set launch options?
Ur off subject Community! Im not clickin ANY links from anyone... I dont even trust it & its been reported as off subject.
Ok nver mind Vitom..... I have no clue y, but for some odd reason its working. I figured hey lets try it see what happens & it worked.
Im confused!!!!!! I changed nothing & that proves that the router did set a different port like it should.

Thanx for ur time I appreciate it!
