Some help with this issue?
When playing some games I get this weird... graphical thing?

http://www.anonmgur.com/up/4c3c976b0404864f613532770702f4b9.jpg

It's always there when I'm looking at the Daedlus. And

In Mass Effect when you're standing in front of those blue forcefields when you're about to save Liara it'll do the same thing with whatever is directly in front of it. Usually Shep and company's face. Could anyone help me figure out what this is and possibly get rid of it?

How about telling us your system specs first or give us a dxdiag file before bumping this thread into mod lockdown oblivion?

I haven't seen anything like this before, it doesn't resemble any of the normal artifacts that you normally get when your gpu is dying/crapping out.

Have you wiped your old drivers with driver fusion or any other tool before you installed the latest new ones again? Cause there is a whole lot of crap that get's saved in the windows registry about your gpu driver that doesn't go away with a simple uninstall. It's worth a shot.

Btw driver fusion is free, just click either "nvidia", or "amd" display (depending what gpu you have), let it analyze, and delete all the registry entries, afterwards restart your comp and install the new drivers.

If that doesn't work then you are the proud owner of a special graphics card. :)

As the guy above me mentioned. If you recently changed graphics card from Etc. Nvidia to AMD
then there are still "Keys" in the folders. It might be that that conflicts.

However i cannot help you unless you tell us your System Specs (What components that you're computer have) Is it a laptop?

Make sure your PCI-E port is cleaned and free for dust. Also make sure your computer get's enough airflow.

Try the following steps.

1: Download a program called "Driver Fushion"
2: Uninstall your drivers (Don't restart just yet)
3: Open "Driver Fushion" and select "AMD"
4: Click on ana-lyze
5: And then remove and restart.
6: Press f8 then windows is booting up and go into "Safe mode"
7: Repeat from step 3.
8: Reboot and reinstall your drivers in normal mode.

It shouldn't by anyway be a 6870? Had the same problem with that. AMD drivers should be removed like that everytime you want to update. As it's not really capable of deleting entire data from the previous drivers with the Amd install manager. It will also boost your perfomance in games just slightly.

Else i would suggest you to look at your GPU tempature. As it may also play a role. If that's the case you should move your computer to where it can get better airflow. Or remove the cover on the PC.

Next time I'm home I'll check the PCI-E port.

Also, Yes it is a 6870.
This problem also exists in Tomb Raider.
