procedure entry point can not be located.
trying to sign in on steam today, i get a message like this: The procedure entry point ?EnterScope@CVProfile@@QAEXPBDH0_NHPAX@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library tier0_s.dll.

I really need some help, i can login on on my internet browser. It happened after a 108mb update

This is happening to me as well. Every time I close the window it pops up again about 12 times then stops, finishing with a message that says, "Fatal Error: VGUI_Setup failed"

Alright I got it working. It was simple for me, I just went to the Install Steam page at the top of this site. Hit Install Steam Now and you should get an installation wizard that will ask if you want to Repair or Remove Steam from this computer. I just hit repair and it redownloaded the update properly and had everything fixed. Now Steam is launching properly and I can play again. Good luck!
