dota 2 won't launch

i can play dota 2 fine on my desktop but i cant play on my laptop?..why is that?..i have done all that security stuff to be able to log in my account but when i launch dota 2 it acts as if its launching, then it looks like it minimzes and dota 2 never appears up or anything and closes out...i have deleted dota 2 and re-installed it but still won't launch...please i need help so i can play on the go...

Maybe your laptop is not up to the task. Would need laptop specs and video driver versions.

well i run on 7 with a core 2 duo...3gb of memry...everything runs really well and smoothe...but game wont launch on laptop...done everything i can possibly do...from searching poeple who has same problem..and all sulotions but nothing helps...even deleting and re-installing...this makes me sad...

and league of legends sucks...i hate the game so much that when it came out and i tried it...i went straight back to dota 1

Find your main dota 2 programme > properties > Compatibility > Run in 640 x 480 resolution > Relaunch
If it works then readjust it in the dota 2 program itself not from properties

not working. i dont know this but i remembered that once i updated dota 2 at certain time, it cant run by using my laptop. but i tried copy and paste it to my computer, works just fine. :(
