Steam scaling/aspect ratio/screen size glitching...
I changed the graphic quality from fast, to average in the game Ghost Master.
what happened was it seems the screensize got bigger but the screen did not scale to correct the aspect ratio and the fitting of the screen.
ive had this issue with other games like Half-Life, now i cant change the settings because the mouse wont move beyond the viewable area of the screen so i cant hit accept or even see what settings i am changing.
im using a 19-inch Widescreen monitor from HP. its a HP w1907.
the games screensize is set to the size the game had at default, so i dont know why its doing this on games when i change graphics settings...
this makes it impossible to play the game and it is pretty agrivating when i want to play it.

i deleted the whole game, manually and reinstalled and it didnt fix the issue...
when i tried to make a screen cap with steam, the image shows the Whole screen, and not the viewable area. so i cant post a screencap of what the screen looks like.
i am unsure if its because im using an intel integrated chipset for my graphics card (ie a stock graphics card). (steam cannot update my graphics card because its stock...)

i have tried commands before to fix issues like this with half-life, and it didnt work to force the aspect ratio and screen size.
i am unsure on how to fix this, and it has only been happening on this desktop computer. it has happened to 2 games sofar, and im afraid to mess with graphics settings at this moment, in fear of never being able to properly play the games that I buy on this computer.

EDIT* I went into my graphic driver and changed the setting to maintain aspect ratio when fullscreen, instead of stretching, and it didnt fix the issue at all, I could see a bit better, but still cant change any setting, or play the game properly...
Below is some info i got from my system using steam to obtain it:

I just looked into it, and well, when i hit Shift Tab, it opened the steam interface. and even that isnt scaled, its like the screen is too big for the resolution its set to, and the screen isnt conforming to that resolution, strange thing is i hadnt changed the resolution on the game, it seems like steam is causing this and steam isnt getting it right...
either the update isnt compatable, or that its the newest.
not sure ,but i found this "
