Please help, GTA IV stuck on loading slideshow.

Well, when i bought this game it has been nothing but trouble. First, the game doesnt launch when i log into social club (fixed). Then, the graphics were out of order and i fixed that with the "Commandline" txt file you add to your GTA IV folder (Fixed). And lastly, when i start a new game, the game is stuck in a continuous loop in the slidehow of characters and music. This is the problem i am unable to fix on my own. If you are having the same problem or have a solution, please, please post it below! You will be a HUGE help to me and im sure others too. Hope to hear from someone on how to fix this. Be sure if you are having the same problem post it below becuase Steam needs to hear about this problem. I have seen constant threads on the internet saying things about this.

Computer specs if needed:
Intel i5 Processor (quad-Core)
8 GB RAM
Intel HD Graphics 4000 (1664 MBs)
NOTE: i am on WINDOWS 8

This happens for both GTA IV Origional and Ballad Gay Tony/Lostand damned.

That is most likely why. You do not meet the system requirements for GTA IV.

Video card requirents are only 256mb =/ Just looked

- GTA IV wants a dedicated graphics unit that runs AT LEAST 256MB VRAM. Intel HD 4000 is worse than an NVidia 7900 or ATI X1900, no matter how much VRAM it has.

I may sound like a computer noob sorry but what exactly is VRAM???? My graphics card has 1664 mbs. i dont get it :I

Video RAM.

GTA IV wants your powerful graphics card to have at least 256MB of VRAM. However, the graphics unit you are running, Intel HD 4000, is not powerful enough and therefore you cannot play GTA IV as it is meant to be played... Or at all, most likely.
