Need help recovering old save game: Batman Arkham Asylum.
Hi!

I was playing Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition on Hard difficulty. Got to 75% done and when I started it again, the profile was still there but at 0% completed... Is there any way to revert or does Steam even cache any old saves? I'm really bummed out if I have to start the game from the beginning AGAIN...

It's a good game. Play from the start again anyway.

I think you're screwed, because that is Windows Live. Apparently the savegames are encrypted using your Games for Windows Live Account name, so if you change that, it's lost.

Well blow me down.. And the weird thing is that I didn't change anything on my Live account. I just played the game and then when I came back today, everything was gone..

Hm, then there may be some hope left. What did you do between 75% and 0%? Was it just the other day, or were there weeks or months inbetween?

The other day. Basically less than 12 hours apart.

Maybe your best chances to a solution are in external Arkham Asylum forums, because as I said, the savegames are handels by Games for Windows Live. A quick Google search also gave multiple results of people having the same problem.
It would be nice if you could update us here if you find a solution or at least the cause of this. I'm certainly out of ideas :(
